From clock springs to wire forms, coiled springs to washers and Bellevilles, constant and variable force springs to stamping, fourslide and machined parts, electronic hardware to flat springs, racing components to SEMS or rings, we are YOUR source to design and supply for your specific requirement or application.

• Clock Springs
  • Clock springs (or power springs) provide reduced force torsion for all types of demanding applications for use in the energy, transportation and automotive industries.
• Hot Coiled Springs
  • MW Industries, Inc. offers both automated and manual hand coil capability in the manufacture of hot coil (or hot wound) springs. Our highly automated line can take many grades of high-alloy materials up to 1.875" in diameter and produce hot-coiled springs with outside diameters of 9.0" max and free lengths up to 39.0".
• Coiled Springs
  • MW Industries provides a full range of coil springs, including compression, extension, die, drawbar, extension, garage door hardware, racing coils, spring assortments, stove handles, custom, tapered, torsion and double torsion configurations. Our multi-slide forming equipment can produce complex hook and leg geometries for extension and torsion springs complete off the machine. We work with all conventional spring materials as well as exotic high temperature and titanium alloys. Wire size capability ranges from 0.004" to 2.00".
• Constant and Variable Force Springs (and POP Systems)
  • Constant force springs provide long extension capabilities, constant torque and virtual absence of intercoil friction and are ideally suited for motor brush springs, window sash counterbalance springs, timer mechanisms, movie cameras and cable retractors. Variable force springs are made to match increasing or decreasing force and provide smooth transition in a point-of-purchase displays.
• Electronic Hardware Fasteners
  • MWI offers a full line of electronic fasteners and hardware to function in a variety of ways and are available with many specifications, including bushings, captive screws, captive screw assemblies, cold-headed, ferrules, handles, locking fasteners, metric screws, nuts, retainers, SEMS, standoffs, spacers, studs, adapters and washers. These fasteners and hardware are typically used in applications where reliability standards are stringent, including medical, military, aerospace, telecommunications, and the automotive industry.
• Machined Parts
  • Machining capabilities range from .125" to 8.000" bar diameter, also in a variety of standard and alloyed materials. All CNC turning and milling and Swiss turning capabilities are available as well the additional processes of honing, centerless grinding, brazing/soldering and assembly work.
• Racing Components
  • MWI's Hyperco division provides racing components, utilized by championship winning teams worldwide - NASCAR Nextel Cup, Formula One, Indy Racing League, SCCA, NASCAR Busch series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Grass Roots Oval Track, Endurance Sports Cars, Off Road and Motorcycles. Since 1964 every winning car at the Indianapolis 500™ has used Hypercoil brand suspension coils.
• Rings
  • MWI divisions utilize both coiling and stamping processes to manufacture rings. Coiled rings can be produced from round or shaped wire. Our in-house wire shape rolling and ring grinding capabilities enable us to provide close tolerance rings while minimizing raw material lead-time. Our proprietary shot peening process for light rings has improved the fatigue life of or rings many times over, enabling some of our customers to improve product life without costly re-design of their assembly. MW Industries offers ID and OD retaining rings in a variety of end configurations: butterfly, angle, rounded and square.
• SEMS
  • Rumco Fastener Division offers SEMS, threaded assemblies that are combinations of fasteners with clips, washers or other components to improve your assembly process. We offer custom design, manufacture and services including: heat-treating, plating, and coating with the fastest turnaround in the industry. We specialize in quality 2-, 3- and 4-piece SEMS and fastener products including: quality cold-headed fasteners, machine screws, sheet metal/tapping screws, weld screws, rivets, specialty screws, thumb screws, metric/unified threads, socket cap screws, crest cup, terminal, countersunk, and nylon washers.
• Springs (other)
  • MWI also provides a variety of springs for other uses, including disc/Belleville, spring anchors, H-clips, constant and variable force, hydraulic spring perches, composite leaf springs, security tools and urethane springs.
• Stamping and Fourslide
  • MWI offers stamping and fourslide production in a wide range of spring materials and we provide all types of custom stampings for applications requiring elastic deformation, such as those with cantilever beams. Our fourslide forming process integrates stamping and forming operations to produce complex stampings, and is well suited for the manufacture of smaller parts.
• Washers and Bellevilles
  • MWI divisions custom design and manufacture Belleville washers, disc and curved disc springs, serrated and slotted disc springs and wave washers, in standard steel and exotic materials, both heat and non-heat set in ODs from 0.236" to 14.094", and in thicknesses from .009" to 0.835".

    We also offer Rolex AI Series disc springs, which are designed to maintain load tension in light bolted assemblies, where a constant load is required. Disc springs exert a uniform pressure that remains constant despite tension losses caused by thermal expansion, contraction, compression set or wear of parts.

  • MWI provides custom wire forming of all types, providing traditional spring functionality and forming of static components in an extremely wide range of materials and finishes for demanding applications.
